Via drag and drop, the software will uninstall just about anything along with all of its associated items. You can drag any item that can be uninstalled onto AppDelete: applications, widgets, preference panes, plugins, screensavers, etc.
Version 4.2.2 has been optimized for OS X Yosemite (though it's still backwards compatible with Lion/Mountain Lion/Mavericks). It has a refreshed user interface, improved search algorithm, and the ability to to copy/paste from the log.
AppDelete 4.2.2 requires OS X Version 10.7 Lion or later. It costs US$7.99 for a single user license. Upgrades from version 2/AppDelete Lite are $3.99. A demo is available. Version 3 licenses without a serial number are also eligible for the upgrade.
If you want to view the files that AppDelete was able to find and delete, click on the Log button of the program. The register includes the files that have been deleted and their location.
AppTrap and AppZapper are two other tools that carry out the same action. The first one is free and automatically carries out the removal(the program doesn't have to be opened). The second one, AppZapper, is a shareware version and is limited to five uses.
